lady miranda

nominated for

  • Songwriter of the year, Non-classical

the raine continues is lady miranda's third album release. it leans in the arm of alternative rock with inclusions of grunge, gothic rock, rap, pop, and traditional rock styles. the raine continues was released in march 2025 just one month after lady miranda went through a major brain surgery. the release of this album is a dedication to her strength and resilience as an artist.

Inadequate

the first track on this album, inadequate offers raw vocals and a soulful melody. it is no secret that lady miranda is an autistic artist, and this song was born from the pain of rejection by those closest to you. the lyrics will tug at your heartstrings in a way that only deep pain can. lady miranda believes anyone can relate to this song because we have all felt inadequate.

Casualty

the second track on this album, casualty has a foot-tapping, body grabbing beat that you can't help but to love. lady miranda loves to take scenarios and flip them upside down. that is how casualty was born. it comes from the idea of a woman not wanting a serious relationship in the modern day.

wasting time

with strong influences from evanescence and a surprise rap verse influenced by the style of eminem, wasting time is an incredible take on gothic rock with true lady miranda flair. this song was born out of previous experience of feeling like you're in a situation that is going nowhere.

irrelevant

irrelevant is a nod to the grunge era that has always held space in lady miranda's heart. irrelevant is a song about resilience, chasing dreams, and pushing forward despite the negativity, the naysayers, and adversity.

came to party

in true lady miranda form, came to party is the surprise on this album. lady miranda is multi-genre for a reason, and this last song helps to show her versatility. this song was created out of a beat that got stuck and a vision of a fancy club music video. it's fun. it's girls night. it's glamorous. and it's meant to get you moving.
